Location, breakfast, external of hotel

Dark navy walls everywhere, plumbing and aircon Room was very small and too hot I had booked and paid for full breakfast but hotel records said not, sorted in the end but embarrassing to have to argue in the restaurant

We were there for one night and this hotel was great modern. Its location within walking distance of centre was particularly good.

It's cool hotel with efficient personnel in both days by a staff member. Unbeatable location to the basement dining area, marvellous breakfast. And near the town centre, the shops and bars and restaurants, Cheltenham. They serve appetising food,...  

Loved the comfy room and complimentary snacks, but wi-fi was spotty.

The king room is high quality with generous toiletries, normal bedding, for instance. The hotel boasts very central location to eateries.

As we remember, there was no elevator.

The hotel had a central position close enough to at least 3 different restaurants to choose from and the restaurant areas of town. We saw Trinity, that's not too far away from the venue.

Stayed for a night and was actually surprised by the friendly staff who greeted us with a warm welcome and even offered us a complimentary drink upon arrival also when we got to our room it was spacious and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud....  

I thoroughly enjoyed the elegant decor and warm ambiance of The George. The staff were helpful. The location was conveniently close to shops and restaurants.

A room fridge would be appreciated for convenience.

I stayed here for one night and it exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and bright, with large windows that brought in lots of light. The comfort level was great.

My room, a Large Double Room, was bright and spacious, filled with natural light from the large windows. The bed felt cloud-like, ensuring a cozy night's sleep. The staff greeted me warmly and even offered a complimentary drink at check-in. There were a few downsides. The dining options felt quite limited. I noticed a lack of a bar service, disappointing. The breakfast was decent, but I expected more variety. I found the hotel comfortable, yet it could improve by expanding dining choices and offering some form of bar service .

I've stayed in cheltenham before, but this time surpassed my expectations. The decor carried a unique charm, and the large windows flooded our superior king room with light. The comfortable bed.
